Commissions

The process of commissioning artwork is easy… First, we will determine the size, the colors, and the basic style and composition. Any images of works I’ve done in the past or even ideas from other artists can be used for inspiration. (I will not copy other artists’ artwork, but I can use images of their works to indicate color or specific nuances.) Photographs of the room and surrounding areas where the artwork will be hanging are also helpful. If exact colors are important to you, then fabric or paint samples can be mailed or referenced. The more information you can provide me about your personal style, the better. Pinterest page sharing works well for this.

Next, I will propose a price and time-line and then request a fifty percent deposit to begin the project.

Once the painting is completed, I will share photographs for approval. Adjustments can be made to assure you are happy with the final version before delivery.

The current lead time is about four weeks from the date the deposit is received, but sometimes I am able to complete your custom artwork in less time.
